Mónica Martínez Walter holds a PhD in Physics from Heidelberg University in Germany. She began her career as atmospheric chemistry researcher, an activity she still combines with the Presidency of the business group GMV.

Jesús Serrano Martínez is an Aeronautical Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, and he completed an Executive Management Program at the IESE Business School. He joined GMV in 1986, and since January 2009 he has held the post of GMV General Manager.

Miguel Romay holds a degree in Advanced Aeronautical Engineering from the Department of Advanced Aeronautical Engineering at Madrid Polytechnic University.

Enrique Fraga holds a degree in Mathematical Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid and has completed a Business Management program at IESE Business School.

Luis Fernando Álvarez-Gascón is a senior aeronautical engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (1987), and he completed postgraduate studies in Business Administration at the Instituto de Empresa (Executive MBA) and at IESE (PDG).

Miguel Ángel Martínez is a Senior Aeronautical Engineer specializing in Aircraft from ETSIA (1987). He completed his training with an MBA from FDC (Brazil).

He began his career at GMV in 1988, working as a project engineer, project manager and team leader, primarily in the satellite navigation area. In 1995, he was appointed GMV Systems manager, a position he held until 1998.

Manuel Pérez Cortés has been an Aeronautical Engineer since 1982 and Doctor of Aeronautical Engineering since 1985 from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. He completed his training with an Executive Development Program at IESE. He is a Full Professor at the Technical College of Aeronautical Engineers at the Polytechnic University of Madrid since 1987. He is also the Director of the Spanish School of Flight Testing and Airworthiness at UPM (E4A).

Javier Martínez Cendejas holds a BA (Hons.) in International Business Administration from Lincoln University, had he has a Master’s degree in Economic-Financial Management and Planning from IDE-CESEM.

He has been with GMV practically from the moment it was established. In 1993, he held the position of Corporate Financial Controller, and he was appointed GMV’s CFO in 2002. His responsibility focuses on the corporate finance and legal areas.

An Aeronautical Engineer from ETSIA, he began his career as an intern in the CASA Strategic Marketing Department. In 1987, he joined GMV as a project engineer, moving on to become a project manager two years later. He moved to Toulouse, France, in 1990, to join the team on ESA’s Hermes project. Following a brief stint in Madrid, in 1993 he moved to ESTEC, where he conducted a number of manned mission studies.

In July 1996, following the completion of an MBA at the Instituto de Empresa, he was appointed Human Resources and GMV Central Services Manager.

Jorge Potti holds a degree in Advanced Aeronautical Engineering from the Department of Advanced Aeronautical Engineering at Madrid Polytechnic University, and he has also completed a Senior Executive Program at IESE Business School.

Aerospace Engineer from the University of St. Louis (1988), MBA from ESCP (2000) and PDG from IESE (2011). He began at GMV as a project engineer and, in 1992, he moved to ESOC, working on a variety of projects in the flight dynamics and control centers area. Back in Spain, he was responsible for the control center for the ISO mission at ESACE until 1998, when he took over as the head of the Eutelsat Control Centers account.

A Computer Engineer from the UPM (1986), he joined GMV in April of 1988 as a data processing and real-time systems project engineer, working later as a team manager and project manager in the Software Engineering division.

In 2000, he joined the Defense and Security business unit, where he led the PCGACA project, a precursor for the current command and control systems area, while also leading the Ground Programs Division (subsequently HSMM) to the present.

Raúl Herbosa earned a degree in Computer Engineering from Madrid Polytechnic University in 1988, and a degree in Advanced Computer Engineering from Spain’s National Remote Education University (UNED) in 2007. He also holds CISA and CRISC certifications (2000) and is currently a platinum member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).
