II Space Congress
After its successful first edition in 2019, the Spanish Association of Defense, Security, Aeronautics, and Space Technologies (Asociación Española de Tecnologías de Defensa, Seguridad, Aeronáutica y Espacio, TEDAE), in collaboration with the Spanish Space Agency, organizes the second edition of the Space Congress in Seville on November 9th and 10th under the slogan “+SPACE +FUTURE”.
This event, which will take place at a critical moment for the space industry, will bring together experts from the industry, universities, government entities, and various organizations related to the space sector in Spain and Europe. In addition, the congress will have the participation of the Spanish Secretary of State for Defense, the Spanish acting Minister of Science and Innovation, the acting director of the Spanish Space Agency, and the general director of the European Space Agency (ESA).
The objectives of the II Space Congress are to showcase the capabilities of the sector in Spain and the achievements made; to assess and analyze the conclusions of the EU Space Week, where the ESA, EC, and EUSPA will present the European position; and to analyze these conclusions at the national level with the participation of various stakeholders, including industry, local administration, and national and international administrations.
GMV will once again have a significant presence with two contributions. The first will be from Miguel Romay, General Manager of GMV´s Satellite Navigation Systems, who will participate on November 9th in a panel discussion on "The Immediate Future: Navigation, launchers, science, and exploration". On November 10th, Jorge Potti, Corporate Strategy Director of GMV, will take part in a panel discussion about the newly established Spanish Space Agency.
