18#ENISE - International Meeting on Information Security
Spain’s National Institute of Cybersecurity (INCIBE), attached to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, through the State Secretariat for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence, is once again organizing the International Meeting on Information Security (#18ENISE). This can’t-miss event for leading cybersecurity in the digital age will take place from 21 to 23 October in León’s Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos convention center, with GMV featuring prominently.
On the first day Mariano Benito, GMV’s CyberSecurity and Privacy Ambassador, will participate in the presentation of the “Information Classification, DLP and IRM” report, drawn up by the Association of Information Society and Telecommunications Users’ (AUTELSI) Quality and Security Group.
On 23 October, at the El Palacín venue, where the Innovation Public Procurement projects backed by INCIBE will be presented, GMV will share its work developing products and services for specialized SOCs in the transportation and space sectors, as well as its self-sovereign digital identity solution. David Álvarez, cybersecurity software development project manager, and Juan Miguel Auñón, head of privacy-enhancing technologies (PET) for GMV’s Secure e-Solutions, will be the speakers.
That same day, in the afternoon session, Patricia Tejado, director of Digital Public Services, will participate in the panel discussion on “Experiences and difficulties in attracting and retaining cybersecurity talent,” giving insight into GMV’s strategy for tackling this issue. Javier Zubieta, director of marketing and communication, will also moderate the round-table discussion on “Analyzing technological risks in companies’ governing bodies,” as chairman of the Multisectoral Association of Spanish Electronics and Communications Companies’ (AMETIC) Cybersecurity Commission.
Luis Fernando Álvarez-Gascón, general manager of GMV’s Secure e-Solutions and vice-chair of AMETIC, will also participate in the launch of the ISAC-TIC, within the framework of a collaboration agreement between AMETIC and the INCIBE. The theme of the event, which is holding its eighth edition in hybrid format, will be “TAIking on the new digital era.”
