Observatory of Digitalization in the Spanish Agri-food Sector (Session V)

The Observatory of Digitalization in the Agri-food Sector, initiated by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food in collaboration with Grupo Cajamar, is dedicated to collecting data on the adoption and integration of new technologies within the agri-food industry. This effort supports the ongoing digital transformation of the sector. In addition, the Observatory promotes initiatives aimed at enhancing the adoption of digital technologies in agri-food businesses.
Currently, it is organizing a series of webinars to examine the state of automation and robotization in the agri-food sector. The purpose of this fifth session is to explore the current state of robotization in the fruit and vegetable industry, discuss its benefits and challenges, and consider future prospects for its implementation.
Ángel C. Lázaro, Head of Robotics and Automation for the Industry Sector at GMV, will participate in a roundtable discussion on the future of robotization in the fruit and vegetable industry (12:40 PM), moderated by Alicia María González Céspedes from the Cajamar Experimental Station.
