The event, held online, kicked off with a brief presentation of the Master’s course followed by two chats from experts in the fields of cybersecurity and cyberintelligence : Carlos Sahuquillo, technical leader in Onboard System Cybersecurity of GMV’s Secure e-Solutions sector, and Enrique Cubeiro, Head of Operations of the Joint Cyberdefense Command (Mando Conjunto de Ciberdefensa: MCCD). With the imminent advent of autonomous cars and the vulnerabilities still existing today in connected cars, carmakers (OEMs) are now tackling the problem of vehicle safety from various angles. Carlos Sahuquillo’s talk “Safety as-a-service in autonomous driving” looked at some of these vulnerabilities and what carmakers are now doing about them. Taking up the cue, Enrique Cubeiro stressed that cybersecurity is the responsibility of each and every one of us. One of the most significant aspects of UPV’s project is that the cyberintelligence is to be taught directly by the Joint Cyberspace Command (Mando Conjunto de Ciberespacio: (MCCE), formerly known, until 2020 as the Joint Cyberdefense Command (MCCD in Spanish initials). MCCE is an organization of the Chief of Staff of Defense (Estado Mayor de la Defensa: EMAD) with responsibility for running, coordinating, controlling and executing all arrangements designed to ensure the armed forces’ freedom of action in cyberspace.(Video) Presentation ceremony of Cybersecurity and Cyberintelligence Master’s Course Print Share Related Automotive GMV’s key participation in Tech.AD US Automotive Recognition for innovation in smart mobility at the Castilla y León Automotive Awards Automotive GMV GSharp® wins the Impulso Award for the Best Urban Mobility Project
