After that, the visit focused on the Space area, with a presentation of the activities in this sector by Mariella Graziano, Director of the Space Systems and Robotics at GMV, and Laura Herrador, Project Engineer.The Master’s students were also given a guided tour of the company’s facilities, visiting the robotics and avionics laboratory, platform-art© (Advanced Robotic Testbed for Orbital and Planetary Systems and Operations Testing) and the Eutelsat Room, in which they were shown the work done in a satellite control centre. GMV has close ties with the Carlos III University in Madrid, particularly with the Escuela Politécnica Superior, collaborating not only in the different studies and research carried out there, but also in in teaching activities. It also participates in different events organised by the university related to the employability of recent graduates and postgraduates, such as Forempleo and T3chFest.
