At the inauguration, Mark Dumville, CEO of GMV NSL, officially opened the new office "Airspeed 2" and was accompanied by Ignacio Ramos, Chief People Strategy & Infrastructure Officer of GMV. The new offices are committed to providing colleagues with a unique and flexible way of working and will be home for up to 60 employees working in the established divisions of SPS, FDO, PDPA, GNSS, SCMP and CD. The office also includes a technical wing housing a robotic lab. Since the merger agreement in 2020, Nottingham Scientific Limited (NSL) became part of the GMV's group of companies, resulting in the setup of GMV NSL. The merger has made it possible to rise for bigger challenges and opportunities offered by the UK markets, specifically the Space market. Since then, GMV NSL has seen an immediate impact with an enhanced reputation within the Space industry and has led to winning key contracts. It has already experienced significant growth making it possible to recruit more experienced personnel in key positions. GMV's main UK business is earth observation, space debris tracking, mission planning, flight dynamics, navigation, autonomy and robotics. Its principal clients include the European Space Agency (ESA) and the European Commission (EC), the UK's Space Agency (UKSA), the Defense Science and Technology Laboratory (DSTL), Innovate UK, Satellite Applications Catapult, the Science Technology Facility Council (STFC), as well as key commercial customers.
