GMV present in the Spain-United Arab Emirates Business Forum

In early February, the Spain-United Arab Emirates Business Forum organized by ICEX was held on the occasion of the National Day of Spain at the Dubai EXPO 2022. A universal exposition opened in Dubai last October that will remain that way until March 31st.

The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the EU and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares, and the Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism, Reyes Maroto, attended the inauguration of this forum.

It was also attended by a large delegation of Spanish companies to boost their presence in the United Arab Emirates and strengthen the strategic relationship between the two countries.

Participating companies were able to learn first-hand about business and investment opportunities in sectors such as Aerospace, Agrotechnology, Water, Hydrogen, Infrastructure and Sustainability.

As part of the delegation of Spanish companies, GMV was represented by Miguel Ángel Molina Cobos, GMV's Director of Strategy and Business Development of Ground Segment and Operations and Deputy General Manager of Space. He took part in the second panel discussion on business opportunities in such future sectors as Aerospace, Agrotechnology and Hydrogen.
