Running a Warsaw office since 2009, GMV has by now built up a healthy portfolio of projects in Poland, involving not only space but also the development and rollout of advanced fleet-management and passenger-information systems, information technology systems and security or border control. On his visit at GMV´s headquarters, Arkadiusz Chimicz was received by Miguel Angel Molina, GMV´s Director of Aerospace Bussiness Development; Paweł Wojtkiewicz, Director for Space in Poland; Diego Escobar Antón, SSA Section Head- Flight Dynamics and Operations and Piotr Duźniak, Aerospace Engineer-Flight Dynamics and Operations.During the visit, GMV´s personnel took the POLSA representative on a guided tour of the space activities likely to be of most present and future interest to the agency, particularly the SST and control center activities. POLSA likewise expressed a keen interest in GMV’s launcher developments as well as the guidance, navigation and control (GNC) systems during the visit to the platform-art© testbed. Based in the Gdańsk Science and Technology Park (Poland), the Polish Space Agency was set up in 2014 after the law creating it was passed by Poland’s lower chamber. Poland had already been a full member of the European Space Agency since September 2012 but this crucial, forward-looking decision marked a turning point in the country’s space career. One of the Agency's most important activities is to promote the Polish space sector. POLSA is currently working on the National Space Program, which will support space development projects and serve as the executive tool of the Polish Space Strategy.” Print Share Related Space GMV awarded a prize by the British Embassy in Spain for its commitment to the space industry Space GMV secures major contract for ESA’s CyberCUBE mission to bolster Space Cybersecurity Space Seville hosts LangDev 2024: the aerospace sector and security, key players
