EUROCAE (European Organization for Civil Aviation Equipment) is a non-profit organization set up in Switzerland in 1963 to create standards for avionics electronics. Its members come from international aeronautics authorities, aircraft manufacturers, air-security service providers, airlines, airport operators and other stakeholders. The organization acts as the overarching framework in which several aeronautics working groups swap notes on the development of standards. For a week GMV will be host of the WG62 meeting, a group it belongs to. It was created to draw up standards for next-generation receivers of the Global Navigation Satellite System GNSS. These new receivers will be able to process the signals of all the following: Galileo, Europe’s worldwide satellite navigation system; the constellation of the global positioning system (GPS), as well as the key of the augmentation system, the European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service (EGNOS) or any other available satellite-based augmentation system (SBAS). To conclude the encounter GMV will offer the 40+ attendees a run-through of the company’s activities, especially in the space sector, courtesy of Pedro J. Schoch, Corporate Development Manager, and Miguel Ángel Molina, GMV’s Programs and Business Development Manager, Aerospace. Details 27/11/2017 - 01/12/2017 More info
