FEI Innovation Awards

Every year the Innovating Companies Forum (Foro de Empresas Innovadoras: FEI) puts on a prize-giving ceremony to recognize and reward the work of various organizations, companies, researchers and other leading Spanish figures in the field of innovation and the transfer of knowledge between universities and companies.

This year’s prize-giving ceremony will be held on the upcoming 14 December, with three award categories: best innovation-support organization, best innovating researcher and best innovating SME.

GMV is an active member of the Foro de Empresas Innovadoras while Luis Fernando Álvarez-Gascón, CEO of GMV’s ICT company, holds the post of FEI Vice President. By means of this ongoing collaboration GMV supports the Forum’s goals, driving and encouraging cooperation between universities and companies in the field of research, development and innovation.

In the words of José Molero, FEI President: "In this year’s forum we wish to hail the work and innovation-commitment of firms and public organizations, especially at a time of far-reaching changes in the EU, the digital revolution itself and the birth of startups. We urgently need not only to continue making headway but also to make up lost ground in research, development and innovation".
