GMV is sponsoring GOVSATCOM, a yearly EU Defence and Security Conference to be held this year in Luxemburg on 20 February.

Satellite Communications (SatCom) have by now become a critical component in defense, security, humanitarian aid, emergency response or diplomatic communications. They are a key enabler for civil missions and military missions/operations, especially in remote and austere environments with little or no infrastructure, playing a crucial and strategic role in global connectivity.

The Governmental Satellite Communications (GOVSATCOM) conference has become a key event on the agenda of the International SATCOM actors from the satellite, governmental, institutional and defense fields. This encounter represents a new collaboration not only between military and civil players but also with industry, all helping to boost Europe’s competitiveness in this area.
