9th Integral Security Encounter (SEG2)
Professionals and representatives from government authorities and public organizations will be taking part in this annual event organized by the trade reviews 'Red Seguridad' and 'Seguritecnia. The one-day encounter will also include the eleventh ITC Security Prize-Giving Ceremony.
GMV is participating in the event with a paper given by Javier Zubieta, Cybersecurity Business Development Manager at GMV Secure e-Solutions, under the title “The Mirai case, a story of zombies”. During his speech Javier Zubieta will be talking about the Dyn cyberattack of October 2016, based on multiple denial-of-service (DoS) attacks targeting systems run by the Domain Name System (DNS) provider Dyn. This attack produced an outage of major Internet platforms and services, rendering them unavailable to large swathes of users in Europe and North America.
