GSAW 2021
The Ground System Architectures Workshop (GSAW) 2021 will be held from 1 to 11 March. This is the 25th GSAW, which has served since its initiation in 1997 as a benchmark forum for space-service ground-system experts like GMV, for whom it is a must-attend occasion.
This yearly event came into being on the initiative of the Aerospace Corporation, a not-for-profit association set up back in the 1960s. Its remit is to encourage the creation of an open-system architecture for the ground system of any satellite service. By now it has become a flagship event for all sector users.
The banner theme of this latest GSAW is «Adapting Critical Operations». The booming development of satellite services, detectors, IT and ground systems has spawned a huge growth in data volumes, system complexity and impending threats. This year’s GSAW invites the ground-segment community to talk about its groundbreaking strategies for forecasting system behavior, heading off anomalies, detecting intrusions and optimizing performance without overwhelming operators or users.
The plenary sessions, main web seminars and technical demos are all free. There will also be several interactive virtual events as well as work groups and tutorials.
GMV will be showing a video to showcase its range of satellite-control products.
