Third Space Engineering Congress
GMV is sponsoring the 3rd Space Engineering Congress, organized by the Space Committee of Spain’s Engineering Institute (Instituto de la Ingeniería de España) and the Space Group of the Association of Aeronautics Engineers of Spain (Colegio Oficial de Ingenieros Aeronáuticos de España), to be held from October 27 to 29 .
The aim of the congress is to bring together all national space stakeholders and some of the international community to share their view of the sector and take stock of the current situation. The 3-day congress will be divided into various lectures and debating panels, in which companies, startups, public institutions and universities will deal with several burning issues of the space sector
Jorge Potti, General Manager of GMV’s space sector and Vice President of the Space Committee of the Spanish Association of Space, Aeronautics and Defense Technology Companies (Asociación Española de Empresas Tecnológicas de Defensa, Aeronáutica y Espacio: TEDAE), will be talking part in the panel discussion to be held on 27 October, under the title “Space, SDGs and the impact of COVID-19”. GMV will also be giving four papers on earth observation, satellite navigation, space debris and precise positioning techniques for autonomous driving.
