Towards automatic satellite collision avoidance making use of AI

Next June 3, GMV will hold the webinar called “Towards automatic satellite collision avoidance making use of Artificial Intelligence”. The session will be given by Alberto Águeda, Division Head Institutional Flight Dynamics Systems of Aerospace at GMV.

Currently there are nearly 20,000 catalogued objects of several magnitudes which move around different space orbits. This space debris is congesting space and becoming an increasingly serious problem, that sometimes implies an urgent decision making, considering a large amount of information and determining factors.

This online event will focus on the applicability of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies to the automation of satellite collision avoidance process.

Time: 4 pm – 5 pm (CEST).
