#VLCTESTING18 is the marquee software testing and quality event organized by the IT Technology Institute (Instituto Tecnológico de Informática: ITI). It will be held on 28 and 29 November in Valencia’s Polytechnic Innovation City (Ciudad Politécnica de la Innovación).

GMV is one of the Premium sponsors of #VLCTesting18 and will be holding a seminar on “How to tackle the challenge of automating GUI testing”, guided by Miguel Peiró García.

The workshop will deal with the complete development cycle of automated UI testing using Selenium. An initial theoretical part will introduce good development practices with Selenium after which a practical part will deal with the generation of a simple project and then move on to incorporation in the continuous integration process where it will be run using Selenium grid.

The practical example will be done with Java, maven, Jenkins, Selenium grid.
