GMV is taking part in the twenty fourth European Navigation Conference, ENC 2016, organized by the European Group of Institutes of Navigation (EUGIN) and to be held this year from 30 May to 2 June in Helsinki (Finland).

In this year’s ENC the focus will be on innovations in positioning, navigation and timing technologies and satellite-navigation applications on land, sea and air.

GMV will be presenting the paper “Outcomes of SBAS-Africa project” on the results obtained within the recently completed AVANTI project, which aimed to bring out the potential benefits of setting up SBAS (Satellite Based Augmentation System) capabilities in southern Africa.
