GMV uses cutting-edge technology to offer integrated Intelligent Transportation System solutions for buses. Our proprietary products meet the highest level certifications for installation (E-mark) and are based on open standards, making them interoperable and scalable for both public and private operators.

One of GMV’s ITS solutions is the ITS SUITE, a suite of ITS applications that includes Computer-Aided Dispatch/Automatic Vehicle Location (CAD/AVL), ticketing, CCTV, and a passenger information system, allowing for comprehensive management of the transportation service, from real-time service compliance control to data use through business intelligence tools, including resource dispatching tools, alert management, regulation tools, and more.

The ITS Suite can also integrate other systems such as passenger counting and Ecodriving (efficient driving) and is complemented by the GMV Planner tool, which makes it possible to plan the range of services and optimize resources for fast, efficient transport at minimum cost.

GMV is also embracing the latest trends in public transportation payment systems with its ticketing system solutions, which include its proprietary onboard elements for validation and sale, with the possibility of managing account-based ticketing (ABT) systems, EMV or NFC payments by credit card, and back-office tools for fare configuration and data use, not to mention the various systems for stations and clearing houses.

The solutions offered by GMV include the Automatic Vehicle Location System (AVLS) for the rail environment SAE-R, which provides operators with comprehensive management of the transportation service, from real-time service compliance control to data mining with business intelligence tools, as well as resource dispatching tools, alarm management, regulation tools and more. SAE-R  is complemented with on board systems for rail such as, Info-Pass for on board passenger information, DV-REC, digital distributed video-surveillance system and PA-Intercomm for public address and audio intercommunications.

GMV also offers Automatic Fare Collection Systems (AFCS) including in-station access control systems on board or platform validation (especially on trams) and on board and in-station Ticket Vending Machines.
