GMV opens a new office in Romania

GMV, a technology business group, has opened new company offices in Romania as part of its international expansion project, with special emphasis on the transport, space and ICT sectors. GMV already has several projects up and running in Romania and new business opportunities have also been identified in the area; both these factors have now made it necessary to set up a more stable presence. The new commercial office, standing at 74 Buzesti Street, Sector 1, in Bucharest, will ensure better coverage and also a better knowledge of the Romanian market.

GMV works in technologically advanced markets and has built itself a leading position worldwide in such sectors as space, intelligent transportation systems, security and ICTs. It has subsidiaries around the world in Germany, Portugal, Poland and the USA and also runs a commercial office in Malaysia.

Romania is an emerging country now chalking up high growth rates, and its market offers great opportunities. Logistically, it is also an excellent springboard towards other markets of Eastern Europe. On 20 January of this year, moreover, Romania signed the Accession Agreement to the ESA Convention, thus becoming the 19th member state of the European Space Agency.

This new site will help us to improve relationships with existing partners and weigh up in-situ the new business and development opportunities in the country. GMV’s range of activities can offer this market great added value, helping to strengthen its position in the international market while maintaining the hallmark standards of quality and excellence in all its technological solutions.
