IAASS Conference
From October 8 to 10, the 13th IAASS Conference will be held in Prague under the theme "Building a Safe, Secure, and Sustainable Space."
Organized by the International Association for the Advancement of Space Safety (IAASS), the event will focus on safety, security, and sustainability in space. Topics include international space governance, aviation safety during space launches and re-entries, traffic management, and long-duration space missions. The conference seeks to foster global cooperation and address the growing challenges in space, highlighting the need for a unified regulatory framework to ensure safe and sustainable space operations for future generations.
In addition to plenary and parallel sessions, the conference will be divided into several panels covering the following topics: international space governance, aviation safety during launch and re-entry operations, space traffic management, and safety in long-duration space exploration missions, unified regulatory framework for space safety in Europe.
Marta Fernández Campo, of GMV's RAMS-QA Satellite Navigation Systems Division, will be taking part with a paper entitled "Assessment of Integrity of Localization Systems for Micro-Launchers with Analytic Techniques" on October 9.
