GMV a finalist at LinkedIn’s Talent Awards

LDN I

LinkedIn, the world’s biggest business-based social networking site, has nominated GMV as finalist in its Talent Awards 2019, the fifth time this annual award scheme is to be held in Spain. Its aim is to distinguish the best-performing firms in terms of attracting the top talent and then encouraging an ongoing sense of loyalty to the firm.

Over 1000 firms opted for a berth in one of the award scheme’s five categories, and GMV has been chosen as finalist in the Best Talent Acquisition Team category for firms with over 500 employees, vying with the consultancy firm IT IECISA and the Spanish subsidiary of the financial group ING.

Nomination as finalist is based on evaluation of the organizations’ success in looking for and attracting the top talent using the tools offered by social media, plus an analysis of the impact on users. In 2019 so far GMV has taken on over 700 new recruits, building up to a total team of nearly 2300 employees.

Over its 35-year history GMV has always pursued specific talent-attraction and –management policies, in keeping with its overall business strategy and as one of the main planks of its corporate culture. We apply time-thrifty, dynamic and attractive personnel selection processes to keep up with GMV’s non-stop growth. We offer groundbreaking, technological and international projects to work on, and a flexible working environment to help employees reconcile home lives and careers. The upshot is a team of the very best professionals.

This nomination comes at a time of all-out growth for GMV. The final winners will be announced on 4 December in a ceremony attended by representatives from all finalist firms.
