GMV presents uQuery, a language technology solution for managing avalanches of information

GMV’s uQuery renders avalanches of documents into understandable and structured results, helping to enrich available information

Natural language processing is an artificial-intelligence and applied-linguistics subfield that studies the interaction between computers and human language. In recent months GMV has taken part in several virtual events to present its inhouse language technology solution uQuery, developed by its Artificial Intelligence and Big Data division.

Organizations traditionally underuse their stored text information. Most of our data, which we have to understand and process in a brief period of time after receiving it, ends up in unstructured form, replete with irrelevant texts, aesthetic elements, repeated data, obsolete information, etc. We are therefore able to draw little valuable information from it, crucial as it may be for the digital information challenge.

Based on language technology uQuery, is able to render avalanches of documents into understandable and structured results, helping to enrich available information. Drawing on Deep Learning, LDA (Latent Dirichlet Allocation) and ontological technology, uQuery offers a very intuitive interface that facilitates information-access and -analysis, drawing full value from data in less time. Among its functions feature unsupervised and supervised document classification, identification of negations, gender management and spelling mistakes, word annotation, text summaries, reports and visualization of results.
