GMV takes part in Fundación Borredá’s Cybersecurity course

Javier Zubieta, Cybersecurity Business Development Manager at GMV Secure e-Solutions, is taking part in Fundación Borredá’s course PICE

The infrastructure underpinning any country’s essential services becomes critical when any violent attack, accident or natural catastrophe is likely to have a serious effect on society as a whole.

All today’s security reports bring out the high risk posed to this infrastructure plus the critical shortfall of highly skilled personnel capable of safeguarding business activity. Organizations, furthermore, are becoming increasingly aware of the urgency of taking proper measures to head off threats of this type, which would jeopardize their business and dent their reputation.

With the aim of training up future professionals in the necessary measures to ensure permanent, updated and uniform protection of the strategic infrastructure system from deliberate attacks the Fundación Borredá has organized the Fourth Higher University Course on the Protection of Critical and Strategic Infrastructure. The syllabus will deal with various aspects such as the development of threats and risk analysis, planning systems, adapted CI-specific security systems and technology.

This course is being given by lecturers of recognized prestige in this field, such as Javier Zubieta, Cybersecurity Business Development Manager at GMV Secure e-Solutions, who has already participated in the two previous courses. On Friday 3 November he will be dealing with the theme of Integrated Management Systems within the module on adapted and CI-specific security systems.
