Agreement with the Círculo de Empresarios de Cartuja to drive ICT initiatives

GMV and the Círculo de Empresarios de Cartuja sign a collaboration agreement to drive ICT initiatives

The Cartuja Entrepreneurs’ Circle (Círculo de Empresarios de Cartuja: CEC) has signed a collaboration agreement with GMV, a benchmark technology business group in Spain and worldwide. Under this agreement the company becomes a member of the Circle, representing a new milestone in the business association’s growth and development.

This agreement will reinforce the ongoing commitment and determination of both the Círculo de Empresarios de Cartuja and GMV to power the technology base in the region of Andalusia and in the country as a whole.

In the words of Beltrán Calvo, President of the Círculo de Empresarios de la Cartuja, "this collaboration agreement is to be added to those now being closed by CEC with other major companies and corporations, with the overall aim of generating synergies and agreements that help to knit together a much stronger ICT fabric and boost the input from Seville’s Cartuja Science and Technology Park (Parque Científico y Tecnológico Cartuja), helping to make it one of Spain’s major economic hubs”.

From GMV’s perspective, as expressed by Miguel Hormigo, Director of GMV Secure e-Solutions of the Southern Region, "we are joining forces to drive initiatives that favor our company’s growth in Andalusia and hence the growth of the region itself, generating quality jobs by carrying out technologically advanced projects that make us an innovation benchmark in Spain and abroad".
