The first event in the PROMENADE project was held on December 15th, in Vilnius, Lithuania, and online, and GMV took part.
The purpose of this event was to bring together professionals and experts in border surveillance, artificial intelligence technologies (AI) and big data to glean their knowledge and conclusions on findings related to the requirements of the PROMENADE system.
This R&D and cooperation project is co-financed by the European Union as part of the Horizon 2020 framework program and got underway in October 2021. The primary objective of PROMENADE is to improve vessel tracking systems and develop tools to detect irregular behaviors automatically using artificial intelligence.

The company is also the technology leader for the Spanish exercise in which the Civil Guard’s departments of Justice and Taxation and Borders will take part, deploying the Socrates solution.
