GMV participates in the workshop “15” FORCE 2035 – Command and Control in the Protection of a Command Post
On May 25th, the Engineering Academy (ACING) in Hoyo de Manzanares, Madrid, hosted a workshop with companies called “15” FORCE 2035 – Command and Control in the Protection of a Command Post, organized by the Acquisitions Directorate (DIAD) of the Spanish Army Logistics Support Command (MALE) and the Office Technology and Innovation Planning (SDGPLATIN) of the Directorate General of Weapons and Material (DGAM).
The workshop took place in a hybrid format (online and in-person) and was held in a single day, divided into three parts: an introduction, a symposium in which companies, universities and research centers presented technology solutions and an exhibition.
The workshop covered four major areas. On the one hand, presenting the options available on the Spanish market for the needs of the Spanish Army units identified in the development of the Army 35 concept. Demonstrations of practices, technologies and tools required to reach the expected Army 2035 force capabilities on three-time horizons: possible force (2026), advanced force (2030) and advantage force (2035). And to promote interaction and information sharing among companies, universities and technology centers and associations.
As a prominent technology company, GMV participated in this workshop with a presentation on the use of command and control systems for the coordination of sensors and weapons systems and for the protection of command posts against destructive threats (indirect fire, RPAS, sabotage).
