Awards and recognitions given to GMV throughout its history

The International Road Federation (IRF) recognized GMV’s Intelligent Transportation Systems subsidiary for the Moviloc project with the 2006 Global Road Achievement Award in the traffic management and intelligent transportation systems category.

Award given in 2004 by the Spanish Royal Academy of Engineering recognizing "GMV’s dedication and achievements in engineering new, highly technologically innovative solutions in the field of aerospace, telecommunications and intelligent transportation systems."

GMV’s Secure e-Solutions subsidiary was recognized by Stonesoft, ISS and Novell for its technological vision, proactivity and professionalism.

GMV’s Secure e-Solutions subsidiary was recognized “as the first Spanish ITC services company to make a firm commitment to IP security” in the Systems Integration and Services Company category.

GMV was the runner-up in 2004 in the Technological Innovation category.

In May 2004, Trend Micro recognized GMV’s Secure e-Solutions subsidiary with this award for its path of excellence and for being one of its top partners.

In February 2001 – its first time participating in the eWEEK awards – GMV was the runner-up for best information technology and telecommunications company.

In 2000, GMV's Secure e-Solutions subsidiary was recognized with the ADD Secure award.

In November 2000, Sun Microsystems recognized GMV’s Secure e-Solutions subsidiary with the Value-Added Partner award.

GMV is the only company recognized by the European Space Agency (ESA) as a center of excellence in Orbital Mechanics.
