The World Information Technology and Services Alliance (WITSA) recognized HEXIN, the big data platform for epidemiological and clinical data processing at the Galician Health Service (SERGAS) in the e-Health Solutions Innovation category. Developed with GMV technology, the project is pioneering in the region of Galicia, offering more than 300 healthcare professionals information made up of preset reports with clinically relevant statistical data and a total of over 800 corporate documents in the public domain.

GMV received the Technology Innovation Award at the 2nd edition of the Tres Cantos Business Owners Association's Business Awards, held in 2017. This award highlights the innovative capacity and continuous improvement that position GMV as a leader in the industry.

The North American GMV technology subsidiary GMV SYNCROMATICS was chosen for the second year in a row as one of the Best Places to Work in Los Angeles by the Los Angeles Business Journal and the Best Companies Group. These awards recognize the best companies in Los Angeles for their contributions to the county's economy, workers, and business activity.

The SIG project developed by GMV for Redes Energéticas Nacionais (REN), the Portuguese company dedicated primarily to managing the national public power distribution system, received the SAG award (Special SIG Achievement), which recognizes the most significant, innovative, and impactful project of the year.

These awards recognize the best companies in Los Angeles for their contributions to the county's economy, workers, and business activity.

Sara Gutiérrez, director of the Automotive business unit at the GMV subsidiary dedicated to Intelligent Transportation Systems, received the Woman in Traffic Management award from the Association of Traffic Engineers and Mobility Technicians.

The award recognizes the efforts of women in the government, universities, and private businesses who have worked intensively in the area of traffic, especially promoting traffic engineering in Spain.

The journal Actualidad Económica recognized GMV with the Innovation Award for its more than 30 years dedicated to the development of high-tech solutions and innovation.

As an expression of gratitude for the services and support provided to the Brazilian Navy, GMV in Portugal Security and Defense Director José Neves received the Medalha Amigo da Marinha (Friend of the Navy Medal) in 2015. Created in 1966, the Medalha Amigo da Marinha distinguishes civilians with no operational ties to the Brazilian Navy, military members from other Armed Forces, and institutions who have set themselves apart by spreading the nautical mindset and underscoring the importance of the sea for the country.

GMV Secure e-Solutions CISO Mariano J. Benito was recognized by the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) with the Ron Knode Service award for being considered a key player in the development and application of models and controls for the Secure Cloud. The Spanish chapter of the CSA had the CSA Guide, Cloud Control Matrix, and State of the Art Studies in Cloud Computing in Spain 2013, 2014, and 2015 translated into Spanish among other work done by the chapter.

The HEXIN project, the epidemiological and clinical data processing platform developed for the Galician Health Service (Sergas) with GMV technology, was recognized by Diario Expansión at the 1st edition of the 50 Best Digital Ideas Awards.

GMV was recognized at the 4th Cartuja Awards in the R&D+i category among the nearly 350 companies and research and training centers that make up the Cartuja Science and Technology Park.

GMV Chairwoman Mónica Martínez was recognized for business leadership excellence by YPO.
