UFEED works by gearing up traditional donation methods, incorporating the private sector into the process as the party transforming the donation into real money. Companies donate according to social-media hits, counted in terms of retweets, Twitter favorites and Facebook likes and shares.

GMV’s support has been crucial in UFEED’s success, allying GMV’s technological expertise and UFEED’s sense of social awareness. GMV, as part of its social initiative, has collaborated in this project by developing the mobile app and UFEED’s website.
