International Agrotech Talent gathers technology experts in Valladolid
On 23 February, the first International Agrotech Talent event was held in Valladolid, bringing together experts and professionals from the agricultural technology sector from all over the world. During the event, attendees discussed topics such as digitalization in agriculture, the use of drones and robots in the field, and sustainability and efficiency in food production.
Antonio Tabasco, manager of GMV’s Remote Sensing and Geospatial Services Division, took part in the “Agrotech Ecosystem” panel, which centered on the importance and growing role of new technologies in agriculture.
Tabasco underscored the role of observation satellites in improving efficiency and productivity in the agri-food sector and stressed the need to deploy digital solutions to meet the challenges facing the sector.
Among the solutions that GMV has developed for the agri-food sector are remote sensing and satellite image analysis systems, irrigation monitoring and control systems, data management tools, and smart farming platforms.
