GMV leads the digital transformation of Spain’s National Security System
GMV has won the tender issued by Spain’s Department of National Security (DSN) to develop and deploy the first phase of the National Security System (SSN) Data Intelligence Platform. The GMV-led project, whose kickoff meeting was held on 13 September, is a milestone in the modernization of Spain’s critical infrastructure that will improve the operational capacity of the National Security System (SSN) through the analysis, design, development, and implementation of an advanced information system.
GMV’s solution focuses on developing a modular platform based on microservices, designed to ensure scalability, availability, and maintainability. This platform will enable the SSN to manage the entire data lifecycle, from secure capture and storage to advanced analytics and the generation of critical National Security indicators. The GMV-developed platform will also integrate advanced visualization capabilities and allow for predictive analysis and crisis-scenario simulations.
The project incorporates the latest GMV-developed technologies in the fields of big data and artificial intelligence (AI), backed up by a robust and automated infrastructure based on data containers. The platform will also adopt a security architecture that will meet the strictest national security standards, applying “Zero Trust” and “defense-in-depth” principles. The deployment of this platform will not only optimize information management in the field of national security, but will also provide advanced tools for strategic decision making, processing large volumes of data in real time and allowing the SSN to detect and respond effectively to emerging threats, improving its response to potential crises. The first phase of the project, which is part of GMV’s strategic line of action for the development of decision-intelligence systems, will be completed in November 2025.
