GMV wins the R&D prize in the award scheme Premio Cartuja 2014
GMV has won recognition in the R&D category of “IV Premio Cartuja” from among the almost 350 firms, research and training centers making up the Science and Technology Park called Parque Científico y Tecnológico Cartuja.
Premios Cartuja is an award scheme set up in 2010 by Cartuja 93 (the company running the Parque Científico y Tecnológico Cartuja), an entity dependent on the Regional Ministry of Economics, Innovation, Science and Employment (Consejería de Economía, Innovación, Ciencia y Empleo) of the Regional Council of Andalusia (Junta de Andalucía).
To be eligible for this prize, candidates must be innovative companies generating jobs and wealth in Andalusia and running an office within the Parque Científico y Tecnológico. The prize categories chime in with the park’s main values: R&D, scientific development, sustainability and entrepreneurs and internationalization.
It is a great honor for GMV to receive this prize in the innovation area. Despite the difficult times, the company has never flagged in its innovation investments, as one its key business strategies. GMV is a company in constant evolution and dedicates a great part of its efforts, both human and economic, to the development of inhouse, cutting-edge technology.
