GMV in the Digital Key R&D Project, Co-Funded by ERDF and CDTI
GMV is collaborating on the Digital Key R&D project, being carrying out in cooperation with Premo and Grupo Antolín, which seeks to develop a new passive keyless entry (PKE) system using a smartphone, while maintaining the current customer security and convenience features: locking and unlocking, and adding new capabilities associated with the use of the smartphone.
GMV’s participation in the project focuses on equipping the solution with the security systems needed to protect the vehicle unlocking system from attacks, as well as implementing value-added services that incorporate new functionalities and uses in the vehicle unlocking systems, such as: temporary vehicle access permissions, vehicle loans, digital key management for rental vehicles, etc.
This projects was co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Center for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI), in order to “promote technological development, innovation, and quality research.”
