Corporate Social Responsibility
GMV’s responsibility to society today and in the future
Sustainability report
The sustainability report that we prepare each year reflects the different activities the company carries out to guarantee responsible behavior, including our commitment to stakeholders, as well as our objectives, challenges, and improvement actions.
You can access the latest edition of our report below.
Health, Safety, and Wellbeing
GMV has designed an occupational health and safety plan that is reviewed and updated periodically by internal and external professionals. GMV’s strategy is also based on a strong corporate culture, where all employees share a set of values that are guided by a corporate code of conduct and ethics.
Sustainability and Environment
GMV has achieved certification in the ISO 14001 standard, which establishes requirements related to setting up an Environmental Management System (EMS). The EMS for the activities carried out at GMV’s headquarters in Madrid, as well as at the facilities in Valladolid, Seville, and Barcelona, complies with the UNE-EN ISO14001:2015 standard.”
Diversity and Equality
We have established personnel policies that guarantee equal treatment for all, not just in the recruitment process, but also throughout our employees' careers at GMV.
We also place emphasis on functional diversity, collaborating with Spanish associations that work in the field of visual disability and reduced mobility.
Professional Development
The company’s activity sectors require specialized, up-to-date knowledge of the most advanced technologies. That is why one of the cornerstones of the GMV Human Resources policy is to recognize employees’ capabilities and support them as they perform their duties.
European Social Fund
In its efforts to promote sustainable, quality employment and encourage job mobility, GMV has joined the European Social Fund’s Youth Employment Operational Program in order to continue fostering the creation of stable, quality jobs for young people and to help reduce youth unemployment in Spain.
GMV Charity Work
At GMV, sharing capabilities, resources, skills, and knowledge is key to achieving objectives that contribute to improving people's quality of life. That is why we take part in solidarity actions and charity projects of all types, to build a better society.
