GMV sponsors the winner of Spain’s All-Terrain Rally Championship
GMV technology is fitted to the all-terrain vehicle of Rubén Gracia, rally driver of GPR Sport and current leader of the Spanish All-Terrain Rally Championship. GMV’s fleet management and tracking solution, MOVILOC® will now allow Rubén’s own technical team and all his fans to follow every move of his races online. The technology also includes a safety system called “Panic Button” designed to communicate any emergency situation and also serving as product R&D database.
MOVILOC® is a powerful and complete fleet-management and -tracking service that provides tracking data and route reports via a secure, quick and user-friendly internet connection. These services are based on the PalView® platform, an inhouse GMV development that provides support for vehicle-tracking services using GIS, GPS, and GPRS technology and WEB applications.
Rubén Gracia, together with his team, is now preparing for the home straight of the championship, trying to optimize and streamline all available resources in an effort to win the silverware in this specialty. This is where GMV comes in. The newly installed MOVILOC® offers a wide range of functions and services to give drivers exhaustive control over their vehicles, such as recording the trajectory and mileage and finding out if routes have been completed in due time and form. All this information is obtained in real time.
The Madrid rally driver is now preparing for the next race on 3, 4 and 5 October in Córdoba. The final will be held in Guadalajara from 7 to 9 November.
