Awards and recognitions given to GMV throughout its history
The journal Atenea recognized GMV with the award for the most innovative company in the area of Security and Defense in Spain.
GMV, together with Thales Alenia Space Italia and the Polytechnic University of Milan, received the Sysnova Award from the European Space Agency (ESA) for the joint COBRa project for deorbiting obsolete satellites.
ISMS Forum (Spanish Association for the Advancement of Information Security) recognized the work of GMV Secure e-Solutions Security Director/CISO Mariano J. Benito for his exceptional professional contributions to the Forum and to its initiatives.
Mónica Martínez received the Innovation award at the 18th edition of the Entrepreneur Awards given by EY (Ernst & Young), sponsored by BNP Paribas in collaboration with IESE.
Our client, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, was selected as having the Best Intelligent Transportation System Project in India, awarded in 2012 by the Ministry of Urban Development at the Urban Mobility India Conference, in recognition of "the incorporation of various technologies, such as the passenger information system, vehicle tracking system, electronic fare collection system [...], providing high-quality, reliable, and fast buses based on mass transit systems serving the people of Ahmedabad.” These efforts can be replicated and deserve praise.
GMV received the Innovation in ICT Security award for its Codelogin product from among a total of 66 nominations submitted in the seventh edition of ICT Security Trophies organized by the publication Red Seguridad, which has been providing specialized information for a decade.
GMV Security Director/CISO Mariano J. Benito was recognized with the “professional career” award by the journal SIC, a Spanish publication specializing in information protection and security in information and communication systems and technology.
GMV Chairwoman Mónica Martínez Walter received the Golden Master's award from the Real Fórum de Alta Dirección in recognition for her work as Chairwoman of the multinational technology company GMV.
The Office 2.0 project developed by GMV for the Conselleria de Sanitat through the Valencia Health Agency received the Best Ideas of 2011 Award from medical journal Diario Médico, which recognizes the work of professionals, institutions, and companies that have contributed to help improve medicine and healthcare in the past year.
Award in recognition of the R&D+i work that GMV has done to tune up security components and solutions.
In 2010, the journal Actualidad Económica recognized the Atlas GMV solution in the technology category of the 100 best ideas on the Spanish industrial scene. Atlas GMV is a groundbreaking system that connects the Blackberry server to email architectures based on Freeware.
GMV received the Europe’s 500 award, placing the company among the 500 companies with the greatest growth in 2010 due to its significant growth and job creation over the previous 3 years.
