Awards and recognitions given to GMV throughout its history
At the 4th Castile-Leon Computer Engineering Gala, GMV received the award for the most prominent Tech Company from the CPIICYL (Professional Association of Computer Engineers of Castile-Leon). The award was presented at the Valladolid Science Museum.
GMV received an award for effort and commitment from Audema and Sourcefire.
The Professional Association of Aeronautical Engineers of Spain (COIAE) recognized GMV with the 2009 Aeronautics award for the Best Company in the Air and Space Sector.
GMV was recognized as the partner with the best development by the company Fortinet. GMV also received the award from BlueCoat as the distributor with the most growth.
The University of Valladolid’s Social Council presented its 2009 Research Awards to the Historia Simancas Institute and GMV.
GMV received the prestigious Galileo Masters/European Satellite Navigation Competition award in 2009 for the development of Osmograph®, a revolutionary system that supports the search for people with K9 teams in disasters.
The innovative support system for K9 rescue teams, Osmograph, developed by GMV, was recognized by the journal Actualidad Económica as one of the most groundbreaking products and services of 2008.
The Celtic-Madeira project developed by GMV with other European companies and universities received the Celtic Excellence Award for its development and excellent results.
GMV received the ComputerWorld award for impact on citizens in the town of Arroyo de la Encomienda, Valladolid, for its user arrival information panels project.
