Awards and recognitions given to GMV throughout its history

The innovative support system for K9 rescue teams, Osmograph, developed by GMV, was recognized by the journal Actualidad Económica as one of the most groundbreaking products and services of 2008.

The Celtic-Madeira project developed by GMV with other European companies and universities received the Celtic Excellence Award for its development and excellent results.

GMV received the ComputerWorld award for impact on citizens in the town of Arroyo de la Encomienda, Valladolid, for its user arrival information panels project.

GMV was selected as one of the 21 Spanish companies that inspire the most trust for the future. Following rigorous research, CRF selects the companies that best create value and identify business opportunities.

The virtual reality arthroscopy training simulator, Insight, developed by GMV, was selected as one of the “100 Best Ideas of the Year” in 2007 by the journal Actualidad Económica in its 30th edition.

The magazine Computing recognized the Directorate General for the Cadastre for the development of the Advanced Perimeter Security Environment created by GMV.

GMV received the Europe’s 500 award, placing the company among the 500 companies with the greatest growth in 2007 due to its significant growth and job creation over the previous 3 years.

Osmograph, the system developed by GMV that determines the olfactory area covered by search and rescue dogs, received the Award for the Best Product in Safety, Emergencies and Road Safety as part of the Second Edition of the National Security and Emergencies Awards.

GMV received the 2007 University Company Award in the Technological Innovation category for its Insight product. This award recognizes companies with innovative products or processes that are the result of prolonged collaboration with the University or Technological Research & Development entities.

The application of GPS technology for livestock farming developed by GMV in collaboration with the University of Extremadura was recognized with one of the 2006 e-Mobility awards.

GMV received the Europe’s 500 award for the company's exceptional employment growth over the three previous years, which placed it among the top 500 companies with the most growth in 28 European countries.

The Confederation of Business Owners of Madrid (CEIM) recognized GMV in 2006 with the Award for Business Innovation for its continuing work in innovation and as a leading tech company.
